Default Everybody's Golf 6: In-depth Character Stat Analysis.

~This Page is a Work in Progress, and will be a multiple day project. Anything with an * next to it is unfinished.~

I'm making a thread to compile a list of information regarding character stats, and the behavior of stats on the course. I will be going over the characters themselves, using the Standard/Standard club and ball setup. I will begin by talking about each stat and it's behavior.

    [Table of Contents]

    -Complete Stat Overview(CS01)*

    • Power
    • Control
    • Impact
    • Spin
    • Sidespin
    • Strengths and Weaknesses
    • Power Shots

    -Stat Allocation(CS02)*

    • Base Estimated Stat Allocation
    • Adjusted Stat Values
    • Big Magnum, Big Air Setup Values.

    -Estimated Equipment Value(CS03)*

    • Clubs
    • Balls

    -Character Opinion(CS04)*
    • Novice Bracket
    • Intermediate Bracket
    • Expert Bracket
    • Suggested Setups

Power: A very straight forward stat, this stat dictates how far the character can hit a 1w without power. Undeniably the most valuable stat in the game.

Control: Control directly effects how accurate a character is, it has greater or lesser effect depending on perfect impact, super perfect impact, or missing impact all together.

Impact: Impact effects the margin of error a player has for not rabbiting or turtling a drive. It does effect perfect impact in any way.

Spin: Spin effects the trajectory of the ball, and the amount of spin a ball will have on the green. The higher the spin stat the more the ball spins. Higher Trajectory characters are more effected by the wind.

Sidespin: Side spin effects the horizontal motion of the ball when hitting sidespin or super sidespin shots.

    Stat Allocation:

You have 'Grace' where 'Gloria' should be....

Why is Grace listed twice? She's just a intermediate character.

IDK Sen. I'm going to be the cynic here. My personal opinion is that you've given control too much, spin and distance to little. Distance should be adjusted on a logarithmic scale not a set factor across all characters. This would really highlight the imbalance of the game as it currently sits more accurately I think.

OK, after looking at it closer maybe having Yuna's power at one and Max at 10 would work too.

Very Very early stages of this post, I'm just organizing really at this point nothing at all is set in stone, nor any concrete information. I've got a lot more things to accomplish before I can actually set real values on things.

For example the value of E to D control is not 1, and E to C control is not 2, from a behavior standpoint. Everything will have to be broken down into percentages gained or lost before I can get closer to real values per stat. Lots and lots of data to go over.
